Preschool and Kindergarten
Our Preschool Program is designed to teach the necessary skills that lay the foundation for a child’s formal schooling. We are not a daycare but a teaching ministry. Our program includes classes for three year old and four year old children. Our Bible instruction uses curriculum from BJU Press, while other subjects use Abeka, both valued for their biblically sound, creative, and visually engaging teaching methods.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN THREE YEAR OLD
Students learn to recognize the letter shapes and letter sounds.
Students learn number recognition and simple counting.
Students are taught using methods that develop listening, eye-hand coordination and following directions skills.
Students learn Bible stories that instill values.
Students participate in music and simple art projects.
Students participate in instructional and conversational Spanish.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN FOUR YEAR OLD
Students are taught the phonics rules that incorporate the use of sounds, blends and the reading of sentences with one vowel words.
Students continue to develop their recognition of colors and shapes.
Students expand their counting of numbers up to 100.
Students are taught using methods that develop listening, eye-hand coordination and following directions skills.
Students learn Bible stories that instill values.
Students participate in music and simple art projects.
Students participate in instructional and conversational Spanish.
KINDERGARTEN FIVE YEAR OLD
Students are taught the phonics rules that incorporate the use of sounds, blends and the reading of sentences with one vowel words.
Students expand their counting knowledge by increments of 5s, 10s, and 25s.
Students begin to read short stories with an emphasis on comprehension.
Students enhance the development of listening, eye-hand coordination, and following directions skills.
Students learn Bible stories that instill values and Bible verse memorization.
Students participate in music and more advanced art projects.
Students participate in instructional and conversational Spanish.
Students are taught introductory computer skills.

Students are provided with both a morning snack time and a lunch break each day. Parents may choose to pack their child’s snack and lunch or participate in our school lunch program. Monthly menus are made available outlining the available meal options. Families who utilize the lunch program will need to maintain funds in their child’s lunch account.
