Nondiscrimination Policy

Chilton Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin. It does not discriminate based on race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its education policies, admission policies, hiring policies, and other school administered programs.                                                                                     

Chilton Christian Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or continued enrollment to those whose beliefs or practices conflict with our statement of faith or standards of conduct. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.                                                                                                           

All students, including students with Independent Educational Programs (IEP’s), are evaluated as part of the admission process. Documented accommodations for students with IEP’s are honored if the school has the facilities and staff to undertake these accommodations. If it is found that CCA cannot make these accommodations, we reserve the right to decline enrollment or continued enrollment.

Potential students must pass an admissions grade level evaluation for acceptance to CCA. In some cases, it may be determined that a lower grade level might be more appropriate for the student.                                                        

CCA is committed to helping students achieve their greatest potential. Teachers offer extra help when needed for those students who have differentiated learning needs on a regular basis. However, some students may need extended help in classroom instruction, extra time to complete tasks during the day, tutorial help from staff, etc.  Teachers may not give special preference to learning differentiations at the expense of classroom learning, grading, and instruction.  Only those students who have documentation for accommodations established through differentiated learning tests may be afforded scripted established help with extra needs. Asking for accommodations in classroom work, study, and testing are not part of the CCA classroom and will not be available unless documentation is on file establishing the need for such preferences.      

The term “special needs” student is broad and covers varied levels of needs, whether physical, academic, or emotional. Therefore, Chilton Christian Academy reserves the right to determine if a student’s needs could be met by current facilities, staff, and faculty. If, after evaluation, Chilton Christian Academy cannot fulfill the student’s needs, admission to or continued stay at CCA will be declined. The decision of the Administration and School Board is final.
