Middle School (6-8)
Middle school students benefit from a modified block schedule that allows for deeper learning and study. In addition to core subjects such as history, math, science, English, and Bible rooted in a Biblical worldview, vocabulary studies rooted in Latin and Greek help students understand meaning, not just memorizing words. Conversational Spanish, computer skills, physical education and electives round out their day.
ACEA Fine Arts Competition
Held each year among our state association schools. Students may enter competition in the areas of academics, speech, art and music. Academic competition involves written testing. Music competition involves solo as well as group selections. Art competition involves crafts, painting and other various mediums.
CCA Jr. Chapter of the National BETA Club
Open to students who have an overall “80” on all coursework and have no major discipline problems. Students will be required to do 10 hours of community service of which 5 hours will be in school sponsored events.
Patriot Sports
Allows students to participate against other ACCA member schools. Students can participate in girls volleyball, six man football, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, boys baseball, girls softball, ACCA One Day Events, which include track and field, archery, fishing and golf.
Students will have the opportunity to attend instructional field trips as planned by their teacher.
Students have scheduled morning and lunch breaks. Parents may either pack their child’s snack and lunch or they may order these through our lunch program. Menus are given out each month listing food items available. Parents pay on their child’s lunchroom account if they choose this service.
